  1. Once upon a time two men were riding along a haunted road about eleven o'clock at night when they saw a black dog coming behind them. And when would stop the dog would stop. One time the dog passed them by and when they went about a hundred yards the dog sprang out of the ditch and up on the bicycle behind him. The man did not know. When they had about half a mile the man started to pant until he fell off the bicycle. He lay in the bed for six weeks after that. And he could never be got to go past that at night.
