    horse shoe to bring luck on the cattle. Some horses are very good and faithful to their masters. Horses are fed with hay and oats every day and a couple of raw turnips at night. In the Summer time the horses are out in the fields grazing. In the Winter the working horses are clipped.
    Goats are counted very lucky to be put in the fowl house when the hens have the distemper. And the goats make for the house when its going to rain. When the sheep play and hop about it is a sure sign of snow. When calling the sheep we say "jin jin" When calling pigs to their food we say "clock clock" and when they are in mischief we say "Hi muck". When calling
