  1. There are several names of raods on my district. Here are some of them. "Grannies Hill" this road leads from Bawnree to Carlow. This road got its name from a woman that went by the name of Granny McArdle that walked to Dublin to buy a pot and came back the same day.
"Bawnree Road" - this read leads from Leighlin to Castlecomer. "The New Line" this road leads from Paulstown to Castlecomer.
"The Old Road" this road leads from Bawnree to Paulstown. It is a very old road. It is supposed to be made since 1820 it is the oldest road in the district.
