    the hedgehog had to go to see his comrade.
    The rules of the race were that they should run through a furrow of a ploughed field and whoever would be out on the headland first would win and they were to say "I am out" when they would be out. The hedgehog got his comrade to stay at one end of the furrow.
    They began the race and just as they hare was coming out on the headland, the hedgehog at the bottom of the furrow said "I am out" then the hedgehog said Do it again said the hedehog." Then they raced back again, and just as the hare was coming, the hedehog at the top of furrow ran out and said "I am out" so they kept racing the hare untill he fell dead.
