  1. In the townland of Stream there is the ruins of an old house and there were fairies living round the house. There was a man wife and child and a work-man living there.
    One day the parents went to Birr and when they were gone, the child asked the nam to take down the fiddle from the rafters and said "I will play you a fine tune." and dont tell the people. When he had the tune played the man put the fiddle up.
