  1. Long ago fairs were held at a cross roads near the town of Banagher. All the fairs are held on the main street except the September cattle fair is held in the fair green. When the bargin is made the seller would give luck money. He would give five shillings luck on a horse. He would give three shillings luck on a cow. He would give sixpence luck on a sheep.
