  1. The tumbling churn a round churn made of wood. In the side of it the handle is.
    There is a screw to tighten the handle. The churn is on a stand about four feet from the ground. The lid is tightened down by a bolt the handle is turned and all the milk fall round. it takes three quarters of an hour before it's churned. When it's churned you wash the buttermilk out of the butter and then put salt on it.
