  1. Sore throat : Roast salt, and put it in an old stocking, and roll it round your neck.
    Ear-ache : Get a roasted onion and put it to your ear, and it will get better.
    Wart : Rub a snail on a wart and it will get better.
    A cut : Put a leaf on it called " St Brigid's Leaf" and the cut will stop bleeding.
    Mumps : Pick a big green leaf out of the garden and roll it round your neck.
    Boil : Make a plaster of soap and sugar and put it on the boil.
    Burn : Get a dock leaf in the garden and put it on the burn.
