    celebrated artist Harry Clarke and are striking and original. The rich and dazzling colouring and the expressions of the features, are altogether different from what usually meet the eye. The statues three on each side of the altar are also very beautiful.
    The Protestant Church in Boher was taken from the Catholics. Both Protestants and Catholics are buried in the surrounding graveyard. There is a Protestant National school beside the Church. Another Protestant National School in the townland of Bellair, parish of Milane and Ballinahown was closed for want of pupils.
