  1. There was once a man who wished to get married. He invited three girls to a big dinner. The first girl ate too much and the second girl ate too much but the third ate very little. He married this girl.

  2. There was once a man by the name of Joseph Murray. He said that he caught a leipreachán in a trap. He brought him in and put him on a hot griddle. He believed he would tell him were the gold was.
    There was also a man named Patrick Gorman who followed the moon from Tinnymuck to Ballycumber, thinking he would catch it.
