rifles are hidden in Black Pig's Hollow near Clara. But the field is unknown.
Some months later a larger safe of Queen Anne rifles was sent to him from the U.S.A.. A detective was sent from the U.S.A. after them. They were labeled for Rahan College. When they came to Clara station, the detective kept guard and waited to see who would come for them.
John went for them on a horse and car. When he came to Clara, a man said to him:- "Don't dare to touch them! Detective on!" When he came home, he went around to collect a gang to take them by force. But noneof them had blood enough to do so. Then they were sent to Dublin Castle. They are hidden theer and are hidden there yet.
