    Weather Lore
    When the hens and chickens are seen going into the house it is the sign of rain.
    When the sky is red it is the sign of a thunder storm
    When the lambs are seen grazing in the morning it is a bad sign, but when they are seen lying it is a good sign.
    When there is a circle round the moon it is a bad sign.
    When the mountains look near it is a bad sign, but when the mountains look far away it is a sign of fine weather.
    A rainbow is said to be a bad sign,
    there is a certain proverb which says,
    "A rainbow, at night,
    Is a sailor's delight.
    A rainbow in the morning
    Is a sailors warning.
    When the smoke descends to the earth it is a sign of rain.
    The wind that brings the most rain to Clonminich is the South wind.
    When the flies begin to get busy it is a sign of rain.
    When the sky looks red in the morning it is
