  1. There is a round tower built on Owen Wyers land in Kilclare about five miles from Tullamore. There are four windows in the middle of the tower one facing North, South, East and West. The door is only a foot from the ground showing that it is not very long built. The date 1817 is also on the walls. There are fifty two steps in it one for every week in the year.
