On the TUESDAY after the Pattern of St. Mullins, the PATTERN of the above is held. It is the FEAST OF ST. ANNE. Many people go from this area to DRESS THE GRAVES as many have relatives buried there.
- On ST. STEPHEN'S DAY many people refrain from the USE OF MEAT, in the district. They believe that this custom keeps SICKNESS away during the approaching year.
