There were protestants lived in a house in Ballybrennan where Mr Deacon now lives.

There were protestants lived in a house in Ballybrennan where Mr Deacon now lives. There was a blessed well near by and these people used to get the water for tea out of it.
Some Catholic tould them not to be doing this, and not to be boiling the blessed water.
When they were tould this they only laughed. One morning not long after this, they put down a kittle of blessed water as usual, and when they took it up, it was a kittle of blood.
