  1. Candle making.
    Long ago there lived a man in Barrack Lane named Jeffers, who had a candle industry. He used to get grease and dip it into water and then hang the string of tallow up to harden.

    Basket Making.
    A man named Culleton who lived in Bewley Street used to make baskets. He used to go out to Alexander's bog and cut some sallies. He used to make baskets, cishes, and chairs, and then he sold them on Thursdays and Fridays which were the market days.
