  1. There is an old road in Old Ross which is said to be haunted, it is called the Mill Road. A certain man was coming home late one night from card-playing. He had to come by the Mill-Road but there was no need for fear because the moon was shining and he did not think of ghosts.
    He was walking along the Mill Road when he heard a noise as of a heavy shower he stepped in under the shelter of the trees but
