    On the first of May people get a holly tree and they gather egg shells and put them on it, They light little candles, put them on the tree and put coloured papers it.

  3. Some children make a May bush on May day. First they put a branch of a white thorn 'sgeac' into the ground. Then they cover it with empty egg shells, bits of coloured papers and primroses.
