    My Home District
My home is situated in the townland of Caim, parish of Monart and barony of Scarawalsh. There are about thirty families in the townland and about one hundred and thirty people in it. Dunne is the most common family name. There is one old man who is over seventy but he cannot speak Irish. There are a great many houses in ruin. Some of the land is boggy and more is good.
