    Weather Lore
    A rainbow in the morning is a shepherds warning.
    A rainbow in the evening is a shepherds delight.
    A red sky in the morning is a sign of rain.
    A red sky in the evening is a sign of fine weather.
    When swallows fly low it is going to rain.
    When they fly high there will be fine weather.
    When seagulls fly around in a circle it is the sign of a storm.
    When seagulls fly inland it is a sign of a storm.

    When stars are glittering in the sky at night it is a sign of frost followed by rain.
    When the clouds are moving in the sky it is said that it is going to rain.
    When there is a circle around the moon it is a sign of rain.
    When the leaves come on an oak tree before they come on an ash tree it is a sign of a hard winter.
