    carried across the fields by s strong wind. This was a rare sight.
    About fifteen years ago we had a hurricane. Taghmon suffered more than the neighbouring villages, wooden and tin sheds were carried miles away. Thousands of wild birds were dashed against the rocks along the coasts and it most cases this was fatal.
