  2. St David's Well.
    Tradition tells us of St David and his Blessed Well in Ballinaslaney in the early stages of Christianity in Ireland.
    St David we are told preached a Gospel to the people of Wexford and erected a church in Ballinaslaney. Many were the miracles worked by his aid at the Blessed Well that is beneath his statue in Ballinaslaney. Tradition tells us that when the plague was sweeping the country that anyone who drank of its waters was either cured or never got the plague as happened to other Blessed Wells in the country St David's was in oblivion for centuries and the church was torn down
