    There is also supposed to be a cave in Ardtramont Castle which was used for hiding ammunition.
    The Castle was also supposed to hold the sacred vessels belonging to Ardtramont Church.
    There is no story about a murder attached to this Castle. Near the Castle is a house called " Ardtramont House" and on the site of this, long ago there was a monastery.
    Tradition says that the Danes robbed this monastery and put the monks out of it.
    Not far from the old castle there is a ruined Church which
