  1. There is a story of a woman named "Yalla Madge" in connection with '98 and I will now write it down.
    This General Madge Dixon fought side by side with her husband at the battle of Vinegar Hill.
    When the Rising was over and the Rebels disappeared she was in hiding in a place called Light Water below Wexford and her baby was born there.
