    Long ago there were some great matches played in this district and I will give an account of one of them.
    This match was played in Ballyregan and the teams which played were the Shelmaliers against Kilmannon.
    There was twenty (men?) on each side.
    The best men on each side were selected and they were selected by a Selection Committee of about three members.
