    Cork and the West to witness the great game and the crowd was beyond counting.
    The house of one of the men on the Ballyvaloo team whose name was Gilfoyle was cut in two by the parish boundary, and right on the stroke of midnight he was called up by men outside to prove if he was eligible to play on the Ballyvaloo team and that would be determined by which end of the house he slept in at least this is the story told.
    At any rate Killisk was victor and there was a great song made about them.
