    A neighbour swore upon his oath he owed him eighty pounds.
    On the 16th day of April eighteen sixty three,
    The boy while doing his business was brought by Joseph Fee.
    To pay him a few pounds he owed,
    He said "I have that for you now",
    He dragged him to the slaughter house and killed him like a cow,
    But when he did the dirty work the coward he got afraid,
    He ran into a hardware shop and there he bought a spade,
    He dug the grave about three feet deep, the coward he had no time,
    He ran into a harbour and covered him with lime.

    On the seventh day of last July-upon that very day,
    Miss Mary Walker lost her life it grieves me for to say,
    By the hand of some cruel murderer who there in ambush lay,
