  1. They call it Harpur's Lane because long ago a man named Harpur had a big store there.
    Oyster Lane.
    They call it Oyster Lane because there were eating houses in it and oysters were eaten there and the shells were thrown out and so got its name in that way.
    Sinnotts Lane
    They call it Sinnott's Lane because a man named Sinnott lived in it and had houses in it.
    Church Lane
    They call it Church Lane because there is a Protestants Church beside it and they called it Church Lane.
