  1. The Famine took place in the year 1845 and it kept aging until the year 1847. The beginning of Famine was the failure of the potatoes.
    At that time a man called Mickeal Grow he lived in 'Killdeavon house in 'Streete'. He had a great field of turnips. Sometimes the men and women would go over and take some of the them and then they would go home and roast them and give them to their children.
