  1. My home district is situated in Townland of Clonwhelan in the Parish of Mostrim and Co: Longford.
    There are ten families in my district and about forty two people. All the houses are thatched except four and are all one story high but one.
    Clonwhelan got its name as being the meadow of the seagulls. There are a few people over seventy. Their names are Jim Reynolds, Lizzie Reynolds and Mary Wynn.
