  1. My home is situated in the Townland of Cam in the parish of Mostrim and in the County of Longford.
    There are sixteen families in my district, and about eight people. All the houses are thatched except three.
    Cam got its name as being a crooked lane. There are three or four old people in my district, and the names of them are, Rose Monaghan, Mary Brady, Kate Gaffney, Tom Killain, Annie Nolan, Pat O'Donnell, Jonk Filan.
