  1. This parish now called Legan was formerly called Kilglass. It is situated in the county of Longford.
    The religion of the people is mainly Catholic though there are a few Protestants as well. There are two Catholic Churches in it; one in Ballycloghan and the other in Lenamore.
    There are three cemeteries in it, in Kilglass, Foxhall and Aughara. There is also a Protestant Church and cemetery in Kilglass.
