  1. In olden times fairs were not as plentiful as they are nowadays. They are held in every town and most villages.
    In towns they are held once every month one for pigs and one for cattle, sheep and horses. In villages they are not held so often. They are held about four times a year.
    The people of this locality go to any of the fairs around them. They are held on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd mondays of each month
