    and had the whole place in a mess. He was having a great party of his tenants. He sent word to Jack to take away his cow before the party. Jack would not do as the gentle-man ordered. The gentle-man didn't do any thing to the cow at that time. He sent down word again that if he did not bring the cow he would shoot her. He did not bring her home. The gentle-man then shot the cow, and told Jack to skin her. Jack skinned the cow, and went to the fair with her skin.
