    him. They all came from the Parish of Ardagh. These were their names. Packie Keenan, Tom Casey, Barney Donohoe, Pat Lyons, Bill Keenan, Mick Marlow, Pat Mc Loughlin and the big fellow was Joe Caroll. When we knew who they were we brought them back and gave them some refreshments.
    The small children began to cry. They were afraid of them.
    When they took off their hats and the black off their faces, they stayed on untill the next morning. We all injoyed that night very well.
