  1. In this town there is an old fort that faires come out of it and take people away. In this town there lived near a fort an old man and woman named Bannon. The woman was an invalid in bed. This night when the husband went home she was not there. He set out with a search party and he found her the next morning sitting dead under a tree at the fort. It is said to be the faires that brought her away. Ever since there is a light seen going through that field. This happend over forty years ago.
