  1. The most common wild birds found in this district, are known by the names, Robin, the thrush, the blackbird, the sparrow, the goldfinch, the willie-wag-tail, green linnet, the chaffinch, the wren, the cuckoo, the swallow, and the corncrake.
    Some of these birds migrate to other countries, namely, the cuckoo, the swallow, and the corncrake.
