  1. Some years ago there lived a man in Streete who had a very vivid dream about a lot of money buried in a mound just beside the village.
    He dreamt the same thing for three nights in succession and there was to be a death at the digging for it.
    He decided he would dig it. His dog followed him and during the digging his dog behaved in such a wild manner tearing at the hole also that the man got afraid and thought he would die
