  1. Long ago there was a man in this parish and one day that he was going out to milk his cow he saw a cricket running along the cows back.
    He took a tobacco box out of his pocket and put the cricket into it. He then shut the box and put it in his pocket.
    That evening he was passing a certain widow's house and he heard the children talking inside. He went over to the window and listened and he heard one of them say:- "I dont know what is keeping my mother." Another of them
