    lucky to get married in blue or white, and it is unlucky to get married in green because green is for grief. It is also said that it is very unlucky to be married in red, because married in red you will wish you were dead. It is said to be unlucky to get married on Monday or Saturday, because Saturdays flitting is a short sitting. Green is usually worn on St. Patrick's Day because Saint Patrick wore green when he was teaching the faith.
