  2. During the Penal Days the owner of a flour mill who lived a short distance from Castletown Geoghegan used to keep a priest in his house at night when he would be going a long distance on the following day to read mass.
    One day the men who worked in the mill were trying to move sacks of wheat from one side of a barn to the other. But because of their weight they could not even stir them. They were wondering what they would do when the priest came in. He asked them what they were doing and they
