Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)to the servant and asks her for the dripping.
While she is getting the dripping he takes two of the children off with him.
When the mother comes back she misses the children and she asks the servant what has happened to them.
The servant says the old man took them. Then the mother gets a rod and beats the servant. She goes off again and the old man meets her again and asks her for dripping as he did before.
She says he may have it and he comes and asks the servant for it again.
While she is getting it he takes two more of the children.
This is continues till all the children are gone and there is no one left but the servant.
Then the mother goes off again and the old man meets her(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
