  1. There was once a road leading from Dublin road to Coola road through fields. It is now unseen practicly and is sometimes called "Sheep Walk"
    In the Penal Times it is believed that three priests were murdered in this boareen, hence its name Murdering Boareen.
    One priest's name is said to have been Fr Jessiuph.
