There are no traditions about the water the feet are washed in.
Boots are repaired in our district but they were made some years ago. John Geoghegan made boots, he lived in our district. This was a tradition in his family, for several generations.
There were three shoemakers in the district long ago - Rickard, Geoghegan and Baker.
There are no shoemakers in our district now, but there are a few men who repair shoes.
People buy their shoes in shops now, so there is no need for local shoemakers.
Clogs were worn in our district but were never made.
Clogs are not worn now.
Leather was never made in our district.
