  1. The games I play are : hare and hounds, paper chase, and go seek, I Hose are usually played on moonlight nights or during the long Summer evenings.
Hare and hounds is played this way. A number of boys gather together. The two or three best runners are called hares, and the other boys are called hounds. Then some place is selected for the den. The hares go an than) hide and when they are hid they whistle. The hounds know when to follow them then. When the hares are found they run to the den. If a hound catches a hare before he reaches the den. Then that hare is a hound the next time, and the hound is a hare and so on.
Paper chase is a good game for moonlight nights. A number of boys get together. One of them gets a bag of papers and starts off dropping them to make a trail, when he has dropped all the bits he hides, but whenever he goes he has to keep dropping the papers. Then he hides somewhere. The boy who finds him receives another bag of papers, he does the same thing, and the game continuces that way.
