    The houses are more numerous now than in former years. One family emigrated to America in the year 1929. Joseph Tault his wife two boys and one girl. A girl named Ciss Callaghan emigrated to America in 1923.
    A good deal of the land of Clonlost is boggy - Some good. Several acres are under woods. There is a river known locally as The Big River rising in Ballywillan Bog and flowing into a pond which is quite near to Clonlost House.
