    When an animal is sold the halter is kept, but halters are not put on cattle in this district.
    The great fairs of the year are held in August and November, and December. In many place there are special fairs for sheep, pigs, and horses, but in Delvin they are mixed, and there is no horse fair.

  2. Mr Baker Cox was the landlord of Stonestown. He did not live in the district. He was not looked upon as a good landlord. Evictions and plantings were carried out in the district. It was through Cromwell that the landlord got the land.
