    whatever he thinks suitable. When a bargain is finished, to show their agreement they buyer takes the sellers hand and hits the palm of it with the palm of his own hand. Then the seller takes the buyers hand and does the same. When an animal is sold the buyer marks him with raddle or with a bit of mud. The halter is not given when an animal is sold. There is only one great fair in the year and that is on May fair. This fair is held in the fair green as the street would not be able to hold all the animals.
