    Cure for a wart
    Get a snail without looking for him, rub him to the wart, stick him on a thorn and when he dies the wart will die also.
    Cure for a toothache
    Fill your mouth with cold water and stand with your back to the fire until the water boils in your mouth.
    The cure for consumption is to swallow a live frog.
    For a stye in your eye
    Pull nine gooseberry thorns and point each of the thorns at your eye saying in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy ghost amen.
    Cure for a sore throat
    Roast salt and put it in a stocking and tie it around your neck.
