    There were a lot of clog-makers around this district at that time.
    The children go bare footed in the Summer time. When the people are washing their feet they put salt in the water. Some people wash them with oaten meal so as to keep their feet cool in the summer time.
    There is only one man in this district that can make boots now. It is very few people that can wear hand made boots now as they are very hard on the feet.
